GCG Media Services oversaw all on-site operations and project management for the refurbishment of the iconic Citi Field channel letters.  This was an intense 5-week project with a hard deadline.  Luckily the weather cooperated and the project was finished with time to spare ahead of the Met’s 2022 home opener.

The main scoreboard at Citi Field is an impressive 185 feet to the top.  In order to refurbish each of the 15-foot channel letters a specialized scaffolding had to be hoisted to the top piece by piece and assembled.  You can see the pipe-scaffolding towers that support the rigging for the suspended scaffolding needed to perform this scope.
